Next MWIB Event : Style Fish – the vision, the journey & the Dragons!

Learning from Role Models – How I built my business?

Speaker at the Monaghan Women in Business MArch Event - Wednesday 21st March @ 7.30 pm in the M:TEK Building Monaghan

Julie Cobbe of Stylefish has led an interesting life, taking several varied career paths before she finally got to a place where she could bring all the experience gained together – (Steve Jobs called this “joining the dots”). Her experience and skills in law, event management, wedding co-ordination, marketing & advertising and teaching were optimised when she conceived the concept of “Style Fish” (www.stylefish.ie).

Style Fish was established in 2009, to teach women how to confidently maximise their own style, through the support of locally based Style Fish teachers and an on-line service.

In her first year of business Julie was awarded Image Magazine’s “Young Entreprener of the Year” busihess award and in 2011 she was one of the finalists in the National Enterprise Awards. Also in 2011 Julie, took the brave step of entering RTE’s Dragon’s Den…and it paid off when she secured investment from not one, but two dragons – Gavin Duffy and Norah Casey.

Why not join us to learn more about the development of Style Fish, building a brand, taking on the dragons and developing a franchise business from scratch. Oh … and you might also learn something about Image and Styling too! We can all gain so much from listening to the stories of others in business and this is a great opportunity to do just that. It promises to be great event – not to be missed.
